In 1932 James "Big Jim" Mills, local giant and former high school gridiron star with the Roswell Coyotes, put together a squad of the biggest, toughest boys in the Hondo Valley, and set out to make a mark in the world of semipro football. Adopting the name Santa Fe Straight Arrows (though the team was not based in Santa Fe), the team straddled Indian motorcycles and traveled throughout the desert Southwest.
This classic throwback cap is made of 100% cotton and features a soft, unconstructed crown and adjustable leather strap for style and perfect fit. The logo is Swiss embroidery stitched onto a wool felt applique.
