Alcatraz 1969 Heather T-Shirt

Almost fourty years ago In the late fall of 1969 a politically disaffected group of American Indians landed on Alcatraz, took control of the island, and maintained an 18 month occupation that provoked the most serious national discussion of American Indian rights since the end of the 19th Century. This classic t-shirt commemorates the 1969 "reclamation" of the Alcatraz island.

The shirt is made of 100% cotton (heather is 90/10 cotton poly blend) and is made outside the U.S. The shirt is, however, decorated here in American by Buffalo JohnsonŽ, an American Indian owned brand.
